There seems to be quite a few Illinois Hills posting so I thought I would re-post my query. George W. Hill b 1822 Illinois d abt 1902 Arkansas. George Had a son David Alexander Hill who was b abt 1850 in Illinois. In 1854 George W. showed up on tax roles in Searcy County Arkansas and in the 1860 Searcy County Arkansas census, The entire family is listed (with a couple of minor mistakes). If anyone can tie George W. into their line, I would sure appreciate any help. David Hill Greensboro NC
