Terry, I really do like your idea. May I make this suggestion; Have everyone post their first ancestor, in my case William Hill, Sr., where they lived, where their son migerated to, dates, when they left and on down the line. This would give a migeratory trail. I keep finding tidbits on the web, such as my John Hill, grs/o William, Sr. being in eastern TN. with another officer doing survey work and not wanting to go further west because of Indians. So I didn't know that he was there at that time. Another time I found 2 brothers, a sister, and brother in law going to the fort to deliver some books and Indians started chasing them. They killed the brother in law and scalped him. This was my Casey line, but I did find out the name of the sister. We wouldn't have to go into great detail, Just where did they go and when?
