    3. I guess I mighrt ask the question as to whether anyone has ever been familiar with the first name Labana connected to their Hill line. I am having a most difficult time with finding my gggrandfather, John F. Hill, but his wife Labana's name is so unusual that I would not think their would have been many Labana Hill's. Her middle initial was E., and supposed to have been Ellen? She was born in N.C. 1826. If anyone is familiar with this name, PLEASE let me know. I am not sure of her last name. Some say it was Franklin, some say it was Alexander, and some it was Manuel?? Victoria

    3. Victoria, I'm sorry that I can not give you any clues about your Hills but was hoping that perhaps we have a connection. I have a William S. Hill born in NC 1830. We know nothing of his parents or siblings. He was in TN by 1850. I had a 2nd cousin do the DNA test and we linked to a line that was in VA prior to NC, but we have not found our common ancestor yet. Do you have any info on your John Hill's siblings? Was he born in NC also? If so the time and place seem to match.
