I noticed the comment about the relationship to A. P. Hill in these notes and had to smile. We were always told that we were related to the General also, but so far have found absolutely no way to connect to that line either. I think a lot of Hill families in the south were claiming him as "kin" without any proof. Hello Terry Ann and Others! You are right that a lot of Hill families in the South were claiming or TRYING to claim kinship to A.P. Hill. :) Does anyone have the ancestors of A.P. Hill and his line available? I have the HILL line from South Carolina and Georgia and would like to connect them to A.P. Hill too. (ha) But only if they really did. Anyone out there got a Mary Ann (Polly) Taylor marrying an Abraham Hill? (They have a son Abraham born 1826) (My gg grandfather) Thanks!
