Becky...Don't always be so certain that a Hill family tree originated in the UK. In my own case my ancestors originated from what today is central Germany (Hannover). After they emigrated to the United States and learned to speak English Johann Heinrich Hille became an engish-sounding John Henry Hill and after a generation you could not separate them from the English-heritage Hills, except by their church (Lutheran).
