This James is the son of William and Hananiah Elizabeth Halbert Hill, the grandson of William and Elizabeth Williams Hill, and the great-grandson of Sion and Elizabeth Browne Hill, right? I didn't have any children listed for William & Hannaniah Elizabeth Halbert Hill. Do you know of any others? This line begins with a couple of Robert Hills, then tosses in some Green Hills & Sion Hills. My own line of Henrys, Abrahams, Isaacs, etc., seems to have always been in the same areas as yours since the 1600's, but so far I haven't linked the two lines. Al Hill

Speaking of Abraham Hills....... My gg grandfather was Abraham Hill, b. 1826 South Carolina He married Martha Jane King b. 1841 South Carolina His father was Abraham Hill as well. He was married to a Polly. Some descendants claim her name was Mary Ann Taylor, but I haven't seen it proven yet. Children of Abraham and Polly that are known are: Abraham m. Martha Jane King David m. Jane Lindsey Thomas Jackson m. Sally Brock Newport Mary Ann m. James David Argo Emmaline John T. m.
