Ref: Green Hill's gravesite in Hale County, ALA. Carolyn, thanks for much for the above information. I have searched in Greene County all these years for this Hill gravesite. My records show he was Green Hill III, born 5 May 1774 in NC and died 24 May 1830 in Greene Co, ALa. He was the son of Green Hill II and his second wife, Mary Seawell. I have traced my g-g-grandfather, Robert Henry Hill, to Greene County in the early 1830's. I believe the above Green III and Robert Henry were related in some way, but have been unable to find definite proof for which I have been searching for several years.
