It would be great if a male descendant of James Hill (1761-1833) and Nancy Royalty would become a participant in the Hill DNA Project. My interest in this family is that this James Hill was supposedly the brother of my ancestor, Thomas Hill (1759-1849). Conventional research seems to show that another member of this family was Joab Hill (1775-1847). However, DNA results to date show that the DNA of descendants of Thomas and Joab do not match. It would be most helpful in understanding the genealogy of this family if it were known whether the DNA of James' descendants were a match with Thomas or Joab. Because of my interest in this, I would be willing to pay part or all of the cost of a 25 marker test.
