Hello Lists! I'm trying to locate the homestead of the Jacob Hill family, circa 1750, Windsor or Richmond Townships in Berks. I've seen oral histories stating that there is a stone manse on Moselem Creek that was built by Jacob. I traveled through there last summer and found several old stone houses and a mill, but the locals said they belonged to the Merckel family, which I believe is true. There is another claim that the Windsor Castle Hotel/Tavern was once the home of Jacob's family. It's not far from Moselem Creek, but not right "on" it. However, I didn't inspect that specific area when I was there. Can anybody shed some light on these issues? Tom
