I am looking for the parents of Francis HILL of Sampson Co. NC. He married (1) Elizabeth ? (might be LEE or WOOD) and had a son Bennett HILL, born September 1769. Francis married (2) Mary BLACKMAN, and had three daughters, Martha, Aley and Hester HILL. Bennett may have been born in VA. Is it possible that Abner HILL, son of Robert HILL and Tabitha GREEN, is is father? Thanks for any help you can give me. I have information of the Bennett HILL family from Sampson Co. to Wilcox Co.
