I recently photocopied all the HILL names in Volume VII and VIII of "The Roster of Confederate Soldiers" 1861-1865, Broadfoot Publishing Co., Wilmington, NC, pub. 1996. There are 22 pages of Hills. The listing only gives the name and the unit in which they served. I will be glad to do lookups for anyone interested. There are twelve Hill names with no first name or initials.
