    3. Hi All, I am researching my HILL ancestors and was wondering if anyone had additional information on the following: NATHANIEL BIRT (sic) HILL (+/- 1816 - 1853) Married MARY ANN ROBERTS (+/- 1812-1853) on Sept. 12, 1839, in Knox County, Ohio. NATHANIEL & MARY are buried at the Rich Hill Cemetery in Knox County. There is a marker beside them of their son, ISAAC (I think died at age 2 ---- don't have that info handy right now) The 1850 Census (Knox County, Hilliar Township) lists the following children of NATHANIEL (age 34 at time of census) and MARY (38): MARY E. (8 yrs. Old) MORRIS (7 yrs. Old) ----- My GGGrandfather ( I have additional info to share) RACHAEL (4 yrs. Old) The next name on the census is a JAMES HILL (age 66, born in PA.) POLLY (Possibly a MARY) (age 56, born in NY) Wife? AARON (age 28, born in PA.) Son? I wonder if JAMES and POLLY are the parents of NATHANIEL (or related somehow)??? In the same Rich Hill cemetery is a marker for a JOHN C. HILL, son of JAMES & MARY HILL. JOHN C. HILL died Sept. 3, 1849 (don't have age handy right now). After JAMES HILL on the 1850 Census is a ROBERTS family (who I imagine is related to MARY ANN ROBERTS, wife of NATHANIEL BIRT HILL), And the next name on the Census is: JAMES HILL (age 31) MARY - 31 ELIZABETH - 10 GEORGE - 8 JAMES - 6 ABRAM - 4 I wonder if this is NATHANIEL's brother, both sons of the elder JAMES? I have visited the Knox County, Ohio web page and the only info I found there was a reference to a JAMES MONROE HILL and a HIRAM HILL listed as ancestors on a list of "Knox County First Families". No other information or description was listed. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, let me know! Thanks! Regards. David L. Jolliff Braun & Steidl Architects, Inc. 234 N.
