Isaac Lafayette HILL, b. 2/11/1814 Jasper Co., GA, went to TX 1834 with his Uncle Asa Hill. Isaac L. married three times, his first wife was Jerinand Matthews Ballstile. Does anyone have anything on this first wife? I have no dates or places of birth/death, where she and Isaac married, nor do I know what became of her or where she is buried. Isaac L. married his second wife, Frances Lloyd, in 1845 in Austin, TX, so I'm assuming Jerinand died prior to that date. His second wife Frances died Dec. 26, 1857 and is buried in the Hill cemetery next to Isaac in Round Top, TX. They had eight children I know of in their 12 yrs. of marriage. Isaac married the third time to Laura Virginia Gant sometime after 1858. Does anyone know anything of Laura? When/where she was born/died, whether she remarried after Isaac's death, and what became of their daughters, Laura "Lollie" Hill, and Betsy "Bessi" Hill? Any info is welcomed.
