Below is information on my GGrandfather Mack Hill. He states on the 1880 McNairy Co., Tn. census that both of his parents were born in NC. I have no idea as yet where in NC. He enlisted in the TN Confederate 62nd Inf. Co I in May 1862, which was mustered in Cocke Co., TN. He was in the seige at Vicksburg which lasted 48 days and was captured July 4, 1863. According to info on census records he married Rhoda Caroline Baucom abt. 1866. I haven't found where they were married yet. I would appreciate any information on my Riley H.
