Mary, I can't seem to make any connections right now. Your William is about the same age as My GG Grandmother Susan Jane. She was born to John Green and Amanda (MARSHALL) HILL in 1868. She was born in Wayne Co, Illinois. I don't have any info on John Green about his siblings or even where he was born. I do have that he was married in 1867 in Wayne Co, Il. Sorry I can't help much more, but I will take your note with me to my family gathering this month and see if my grandmother might reconize any of the names. I'll let you know.
