I just spent a couple days in New Hampshire tracking my Nathaniel Hill line and finally was successful in linking him to Valentine Hill of Dover. (More on this later!) During this process, I also copied the index of all Hill land records in New Hampshire up to 1771. There are 5 index cards per page and approximately 140 pages. They are organized alphabetically and not chronologically. Usually there is a brief description of place, parties, and relationship (if available). I'm willing to do limited look-ups on the index or for the cost of copying and postage I'll mail out a set to anyone interested. Kate.
