I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching this family. Note that this Thomas Hill and Samuel Hill do not seem to be the children of Sgt. James Hill and Ann Overton. Samuel Hill, son of Thomas Hill, married Polly Moore in 1808 in Amherst County, Virginia. Samuel died about 1817. Polly remarried George Trible 1819. Samuel and Polly had four daughters: Betsey Hill, Jane Catherine Hill, Sally Hill, and Francis Hill. Polly Hill was daughter of William Moore (d. 1823) and Betsey Bridgewater.
