My great-great-grandmother was Amanda Hill, who was from Concord township, and possibly born in, Champaign County about 1819. I believe I found the will of her father, Joseph Hill, Sr., in an LDS microfilm. He died about 1862. Her mother was unnamed in the will, but her siblings were listed as: Joseph, Jr. John F. James W. William O. Minerva (married James D. Powell) Julia Ann Idle? Sarah W. Fletcher Ruth Miller Margaret (married Robert Russell, Jr.) Amanda married Joseph McCoy, from Greenbrier County, West Virginia, in Madison County on November 22, 1842.
