Such incomplete information when posted to the list is misleading and is destructive to the list and will possibly cause people to unecessarily unsubscribe. The Virus does attempt to mail itself to any address in the infected computer's address book (including list addresses), but the Rootsweb servers delete all attachments, therefore the only thing that shows on a list subscribers mail is the text information or URL information that the virus provides. List subscribers must understand that they are not receiving a virus from the list, only the email that went with it. Though I am sure you are trying to help, please word your warnings more carefully when using the list to distribute them to 800+ subscribers. Byron Hill HILL List @ Rootsweb
