Still looking for my Hill past, so I thought I would repost what data I have. My GGGrandfather Owen Hill was born in 1822 in Ohio. The 1900 census says that his parents were born in New Jersey. The 1850 Indiana census has two other Hill's listed in the same household, John H. Hill and Mary Hill both 22 years old and both born in Indiana. In 1852 he married Deborah Jones in Tippaconoe County Illinois. Deborah died in Tippaconoe county some time before 1877 after having the following children. Mary Ellen Hill b. 1853 Walker H. Hill b. 1859 d. 1867 John Calvin Hill b. 1861 d. 1939 in Indiana +Ellen Wimberly Blanche Hill b. 1864 + ?
