    1. [HILL-L] Milton Olliphant HILL , b. 1816, descendants
    2. I had the following sent to me by a volunteer who does lookups for Clark Co., AR. "Clark County, Arkansas - Past & Present" published 1992 by the Clark County Historical Association on page 521 has an article on GEORGE WASHINGTON HARDIN. "On 28 Oct 1855, he married Laura Ann Hill, the daughter of M. O. and SARAH ANN HILL of Cape Girardeau County, MO." My question is, does anyone know if Milton Olliphant Hill, Sr., b. 1816 GA, (son of Rev. Allen Hill and Anna Parham) ever lived in MO? His parents moved from GA to TN to MS to AR, but I've never seen mention of MO. Milton O. HILL was their eldest son, b. in GA, married Savory Ann COFFMAN Dec. 1837 in TN, d. in Clark Co., AR July 15, 1876. His wife d. in Clark Co., AR Jan. 29, 1858. Milton Olliphant HILL, SR. and Savory Ann did have a daughter named Laura Ann Hill, b. Jan. 4, 1841, which would have made her fourteen when she married (not that uncommon) IF she is the Laura Ann Hill referred to in the article above, who married George Washington HARDIN. Can anyone confirm this? (I'm also wondering if Savory Ann could have been called "Sarah". Milton and Savory Ann had another daughter they named Sarah Anna "Sallie" Hill) Thanks, Jackie ________________________________________________________________ Get FREE voicemail, fax and email at http://voicemail.excite.com Talk online at http://voicechat.excite.com
