On his application for a social security number he listed his parents as John Richard Hill and Molly Elizabeth Barker. His obituary read as follows: Bluefield Daily Telegraph - May 22, 1951 Arnold B. Hill, Sr., building moving contractor of Princeton died yesterday afternoon in Memorial hospital of injuries received May 11 at Pocahontas where he had undertaken a building moving project. He was 64. Mr. Hill, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hill, was born at Abingdon, Va., January 18, 1887. In 1908 he married Miss Hattie Mills of Raleigh county, W. Va. He had made his home in Princeton since 1908. In addition to his wife he is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. B. B. Noble, John Edward Hill, Raymond M. Hill, Mrs. F. M. French, Mrs. Jim Goodall, Roy B. Hill, and Jack Hill, all of Princeton; and Mrs. W. G. Eanes, Sophia; Harry B. Hill and David Hill both of Charleston and Arnold B. Hill, Jr., Ashland, Ky. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Mandy Moore, Webster, Ind.; Mrs. W. W. Snead, Tampa Fla.; J. B. Hill and B. K. Hill, both of Cincinnati; James R. Hill, Rocky Gap, Va.; John D. Hill, Parkersburg, W.Va.; Mrs. Effie Blackwell of Hamilton, O.; and Mrs. John Tabor of Crumpler, W. Va. The body remains at Seaver mortuary pending completion of funeral arrangements.
