I spent a couple of hours, looking through 1880 Missouri Sondex for Hill.. There were only two Russell Hill, neither mine, but I did look under all names and abbrevations and none that I saw fit mine.... I did see one though that I thought I saw on the Hill line so am posting it, in hopes it helps someone.. 1880 Missouri Soundex Micajah Hill born in Vermont living in Vernon County, Nevada Missouri (his age is down as 4) wife Ellen 42 born in Ohio Julia 19 daughter born in Ohio Mary B. 15 daughter born in Ohio Agnes 12 daughter born in Ohio Helen B. 10 daughter born in Ohio Alfred R. son age N/R born in Missouri and a step child who was born in Illinois and 11 years old but can not make out the name it looks like Gav.
