Yesterday we learned from my husband's brother that we have a plot of 8 family members in Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC. Assistance with any of these names would be greatly appreciated... HENRY GREENFIELD - purchased the plots in 1855. But he is not buried there. ALBERT LUSBY 1903 (Marker) GERTRUDE HILL 1957 (Marker - We believe this is Anna Gertrude Greenfield Hill) ANNIE HILL 1924 (Marker) THOMAS D. HILL 1943 (Marker) - We believe this is Thomas Domick Hill He was a member of the DC Fire Department and evidently was linked with Engine 83 CHARLES GOLDEN October 1912 (Marker) CHARLES THOMAS HILL (Died 1964; Arranged through Chevy Chase Funeral Home; Last known address was 1319 13th Street, NW, Washington DC) 1 plot unknown by me or not used. The Name of FLORENCE B. CATOR was on the paperwork and may have indicated some proprietorship or maintenance of the plots. Do you know of any other reason why here name might have been there? Does anyone know if the Chevy Chase Funeral Home is still in existence in MD? Help with these family members is greatly appreciated.
