Hello Hill researchers- I never see anything from Texas? My GGGrandfather Johan (John) Hill (1807-1889) came to Texas in 1854 from Saxe-Weimer, Germany. His wife's name was Anna Catrina. They had 5 children who came with them. Christian (1840-1907); Henry (1842-1946); Balthassar (1843-1896); George (1845-1913); Christina(1848-?); Herman, (1850-1940). They settled in Austin County at Welcome, Texas. Bathassar was my maternal GGrandfather. I have information on him, but not on the others.
