It's nice to have another Hill researcher on the list. My gg-gfather, Benjamin Hill (b. ca 1810 TN) married (ca 1834 TN/AL/or MS) to Piety Bottoms (b. TN) Ben's 1st 3 children were born in MS & the rest in AL. He & family moved to TX from Alabama, but I haven't been able to locate them before the 1850 census Cherokee Co, TX.
