Fellow Hill Researchers: Pretty nuch everywhere I research I find myself surrounded by Hills, but I am told that is true of names after land forms (just my luck, grandparents Hill and Marsh). I have checked out of the library books that contain Chesterfield Co VA deeds 1749-1768. There are these Hills: Edward (many), Godfrey,Humphrey (I actually have his will copied when I was copying something else from a VA periodical), James (many), John, Mary, Sarah. Edward and James clearly are the major Hill heads of household. More than one Hill married, or had relations of some kind with my Baughs there (but not direct lines I don't think).
