This is a repeat - Not for WSL Rowe - I've been offline for a week or so- Looking for information on a John Hill, Amherst Co, VA, who died in 1801 leaving wife Jane, and children; Ann (Reuben) Banks, Mary (Mark) Lively, John Hill, Jr.(m. Nancy Woodruff), Washington Hill(m.Sally Higginbotham), Susannah Hill (later m. Jos. Swanson), and Elizabeth Hill (later m.Reuben Harrison). We know this John Hill was in Amherst co. VA by 1781 from county birth and marriage records. Where was John Hill before he came to VA?? Where born, etc.? Thanks Roland Hill <redhill@earthlink.net>
