June 24, 1408, married Virginia Durborough Oct. 13, 1387, dau. of Sir John Durborough of Kt. Four known children; Robert, John, Ralph and Isabella (dates of birth unknown). "Sir John was Knight of Exeter in the parish of St. Sydwell in Devon. A lawyer, had degree as Serjeant at law by King's writ, 1383. Became a Judge of the King's Bench. He died during the reign of Henry IV. An amusing will stating dowers, if his daughters marry." (From Register of Maryland's Heraldic Families) John Hill (Hulle), Kt., of Houndston, Somerset and Hills Court, Exeter. Served as Judge of the King's Bench; 1389-1407. His will was probated July 8, 1408. Son Robert Hill b. aft. 1387, d. April 24, 1423, married Isabella Fitchett on March 24, 1394. Had three children; Robert, Elizabeth and John b. Sept. 26, 1401, d. Oct. 14, 1434, married Cecily Stourton Plunkett April 19, 1422.
