Searching for the parents or any siblings of WILLIAM HENRY HILL born March 1840 in Kentucy, and died April 4, 1905 in Izard Co.Ark. Family legend says he was left with the Hill family as a baby or small child and could have been a Rice. Have not proved or disproved this as I can not find him in any family before he is married. He married ALETHA JANE FOWLER b. July 4, 1850, died Sept 1943. They were married in 1874. Their children were GEORGIA ANNIE HILL, JOHN PREASLEY HILL, MARTHA J., LOUISE, PIERCE M, ALLEN BERRY, JAMES M, AND SAMUEL W. I have a document of Confederate Widow pension application saying he fought with the Infantry of Tn. She states Papers were burned and they did not know what company.
