Children of John and Nancy Rhoda Hill b.) 1830.....Samuel Hill b.) 1836.....Hanah Hill b.) 1840.....Patsy Hill b.)1842.....Eli Hill b.) 1845.....Margaret Hill b.)1848. Their is also a half brother named Isaac Hill b.) 1822 in Illinois, married Mary Ann Reed b.) 1820 in Ala. They were married in Arkansas in1842. Their children were.....Elijah J., also known as Oliver G. b.) 1844 in Ark.....Rhoda b.) 1846 in Ark.....John Sebastian "See" b.) 1849 in Ark......Sarah Elizabeth b.) 1850 in Ark......Thomas Henry b.) 1853 in Ark. ....Nancy J. b.) 1855 in b.) 1858 in Ark......Benjamin F. b.) 1860 in Tex...... and James M. "Bob" b.) 1866 in Tex. I have alot of information on Isaac and his family. I would like to find out who his mother was. She was John W.'s first wife. I know that John moved from N.C. to Illinois to Ark. I don't know where he lived in Illinois. I would like to go back futher on this Hill line, but I always hit a dead end. I know that Isaac was in trouble with the law in Arkansas, moved to Texas. He took his youngest brother Eli and sister Margaret Elizabeth with him. When he got to Texas he took his father's name, John W. Hill. Margaret Elizabeth use to visit her sisters Patsy and Hanah in Ark. when she was older. Her daughter Olive Kate met and married Sterwart Walker there. Patsy married a Mr. Moore and had a son Luther. If anyone has any information on John W. Hill in Ark. it would be greatly appreciated. Eli was a Texas Ranger and also served in the Confederate Army. His colonel was J.W. Morris.......Thanks.....Donna
