Hello list, Just received a copy of my grandfather's SS application. His name was James Shadrack HILL b. Oct. 12, 1880 in Girard, Maucopin Co., IL. It also lists his father as William HILL and mother, Nora RELIFORD. James had a sister but name unknown. He was raised by Banta and Anna Williams in Crocker, Pulaski Co.,MO.Can any Hill's make a connection with mine? This is all the info I have for my grandfather and would appreciate any leads.
