I'm fairly new to the list and have not posted to it until now. It sure is a busy list, WOW! Congratulations for having so many avid searchers on HILL! My ggg grandparents are Davis Austin, b. 1980 in GA and son of Davis Austin and Mary Ann Forsyth, also of GA. and Eleanor Hill, b. in GA (possibly Albany or Clark Cos.). They were married Jan 12, 1816 in GA. We think Eleanor's father was a Benjamin Hill. Someone told me that she is related to a Gov. Hill of AL, possibly a cousin. I can't find my notes to verify this. I have more on the Austin line, but does anyone know anymore about Eleanor (HILL) Austin and her line.
