Just started a family search on John Hill. Very little information known other than he is my grandfather. He and my grandmother, Lucettie Catherine Parker Bost married around late 1915 or early 1916. We were told this took place in Taft, TN though they actually lived in Madison County, AL. He disappeared before my father was born in Sept. of 1916 and then supposedly reappeared for a short time when my father was between one and two years old. He then disappeared again shortly after this. The only info we have is that he was supposed to have been a good cabinet maker and that he came from the "North".
