My Valentine (aka Valle) was born about 1812-1817 in Calloway Co., Kentucky. He married Susan A. (?) who was born in TN. They are listed in the 1840 KY census and the 1850-1870 censuses in AR. He had a brother Harrison Hill and both brothers moved to White Co., Romance, AR before the Civil War. One of his sons was named Valentine. The children of Valentine and Susan are: 1. William A. b. abt. 1836 who married Ellen Norman also born abt. 1836 in KY. Ellen's father was Francis Norman, also listed in the 1840 KY census. (William A. Hill is my ancestor); 2. Valentine b. abt. 1843 3. Lessin B. (not mentioned in census records, but noted in my father's genealogy records) 4. Martha 5. Harrison, b. abt. 1839 6. Loucritia (spelling ?), b. abt. 1842 7. Elizabeth, b. abt. 1846 8. Marian (sp. ?), b. abt. 1848 (male) 9. L.M. or G.M. b. abt. 1855 (male) 10. S.C. (?) b. bef. 1860 (female) My other ancestors are: Son of William A. (see above): William L. Hill b. Oct. 26, 1864 White Co. Romance, AR, d. Feb 13, 1934. His 1st wife was Sarenie (or Screne or Serian) Goodman. One of this brothers was Valentine (aka Tine) b. abt. 1860 who married Theresa Angeline. One of William L.'s children was Robert Henry Hill b. July 8, 1887 in White Co., Romance, AR., d. Sep. 23, 1961 in Ladonia, TX. He married Bessie Lee Perkins. He was my grandfather Thanks for any help you can give. Bette Hill
