Ben, Hit the nail on the head - (lets hope) I've a James William HILL b.1823 in KY. This information is from LDS FHC files. There are bits and pieces of other information: James father is Spencer HILL. Looks to me, as shows in LDS, There was a Harriet Eliza HILL, b.28DEC1858 mar. David Blackburn Creekmore, Harriet d.14MAR1922. buried at Rock Holds, Whitley, KY. Much of this is pure scramble to me. I have 21 aunts and uncles, Mom's and Dad's and only one retains their spark. This is my mom, still living. Sure would like to make sense of some of this before I croak. It's hard to believe that no one has bothered to put this all together Let me know if any of this garble makes any sense to you.
