Helen...Thank you for your response. My James Hill was born 1810 in Madison County, KY according to an old photo- graph given to me by a cousin. He died in New Mexico in 1900. I am trying to find out who his parents were. They were born in Virginia and settled in Kentucky. Ben Hill
