    3. Henry, Have you heard of any Hill's coming out of Scotland? I think the Hill that did come from England came out of there. My take on my family is... and I know this is reaching. We came to Va. from Scotland maybe through Ireland after the Jack rebellion of Scotland. Bonnie Prince Charles was trying to kill out all the Scottish Highlander's during the period I believe 1800-1830 or so. I have never dug hard enough to see if there were any Clans named Hill. I believe Ireland was the closest refugee from the Brit's. I believe many Hill families came out of the Scottish Highlands during that period. Maybe with some luck I can prove it. Woody H.
