Hello Valerie, I wonder if Catherine STACY is a connection to Nancy STACEY who married Thomas DOWDEN and Robert HOLMES? Robert Holmes married Nancy Stacey 29 Nov 1813 in Clark Co., Indiana. Robert was born in North Carolina in 1782, in 1808 he and his mother moved to Jefferson Co., KY. In 1809 he moved again and ended up in Jackson Co., IN. I find it strange that two STACY/STACEY girls married HOLMES boys. I wish I could say that I can help you out with William HILL, but he does not sound familiar to me. Good Luck on your Hill Quest!
