I need help. I am trying to find the parents of my gggrandfather, Morris HILL, who was born in NY abt. 1810/11 according to the White County, IL 1840 census. He died Jan. 20, 1861 in White Co., IL. He married Caroline Perryman in 1837. She was b. TN abt. 1820. Later he may have married a Celine/Selina Welch in 1853. She also was b. in TN abt. 1832. He had several children, Celista 1838, James A. 1840, Benjamin O.1842, Elizabeth 1844, Martha J. 1846, Julia, 1851, Mary 1852, also a Melissa who could be Elizabeth and Artemicia/Artenusia who were mentioned as an heir when he died.
