Well I went to the IGA LDS site, and put in Colonel Hill to see if it had anything on Colonel Russell Hill, and it came up with a marriage for Colonel Hill to a Paulina Roberts 30 Sept. 1875. Mine married my great grandmother David Anne Dunbar in 1874, also in Boone County.. so could there have been two same names name county, same time? Lena

Looking for parents and or siblings of Alfred Hill born 2-18-1825 in TN. Betty Hill Johnson
Is anyone researching the family of Richard Hill, born about 1804 in KY?, and Charlotte (Sharlotte) Fryman, born about 1803 in Harrison Co., KY. Richard and Charlotte were married in Harrison Co., KY, on May 29, 1826. After they married they moved to OH around the border of Clermont Co. and Brown Co. Charlotte is in Richland Co., IL with two of their daughters in 1860. Richard most likely died before 1860. Charlotte died November 15, 1884, in Brown Co., OH. I am looking for the parents of both Richard and Charlotte and the name of their first son who was born about 1826 but not in the household in 1850. My Hill line is my brick wall at this point and I am trying to find out if this family is connected or not. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Herb email: hill_h@hccanet.org

Did I recently see mention of a Russell HILL of Shelby Co. TN on the message board? I have just found a close link between this Russell (1919-1982, son of Bedford (Butch) HILL and Cora Alyce Butler) and my Monroe Co. KY HILLs. If he's one of yours, please contact me. Kittyb9861@aol.com
I have searched as most of you know for my great grand father Russell Hill. well he also went by Colonel, but only listed as Russell on paper work. I could not find him at all on any census of Missouri 1880, or under wives name either. Well I started going through every Hill in Missouri 1880 census and found him under C.R.Hill who was 30 at the time and from Kentucky. On it of course is his wife and the only child they had at that time, but there was also a Mary E. Hill(N.R) 9/12.... so I wonder who she is and how she came to be there. Also am hoping someone out here can help me see who Colonel Russell Hill's people were. I am excited. Lena

I would like to know more about the Graves, too. Thank you. Joann ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
