Hi all, I am trying to find information about a cousin that was killed Dec. 7, 1941 when his ship in Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. Hi name is ROBERT DONALD GREENWALD, S1c, on the USS Helena. Would a Death Certificate be on file in Honolulu ? Would he have been buried in the Punchbowl Cemetery ? Is there a Sexton for the cemetery that might have burial records, and how might I contact him/her ? I am trying to find the name of his parents and where they would have been living at that time so that I can try to find an Obituary. I don't have his service number to try for a copy of his Navy records and not sure if the would release them to a 1st cousin, once removed.
