    2. CHESTER, HANCOCK COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA---Harold "Kip" Urie, 84, of Louisiana Avenue, died Monday, September 14, 1998 at City Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in WELLSVILLE, COLUMBIANA COUNTY, OHIO, January 8, 1914, the son of the late George Edward Urie & Margaret A. Wilson Urie. He retired as a riverpump operator at the former Crucible Steel Company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chester, WV, where he served as a trustee. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1932. He served with the U. S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Frances Lilly Urie; 2 sons, Kenneth Marshall of HONOLULU, HI, & Donald Marshall of BELOIT, OH; 3 daughters, Mrs. Gene [Linda] Gilbert of WESTLAKE, OH, Mrs. Earl [Susan] Wolfgang of VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, & Mrs. Frank [Debra] Lugano of CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA; a sister, Dorothy Fortune of PORT ST. LUCIE, FL; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and caregivers for 3 years, Donette Hall & Trudy Hall of CHESTER, WV. The Rev. Dennis Braun of the Glendale Presbyterian Church will conduct services at noon Wednesday at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Association, or the Alzheimer's Association.
