In 1953, he was the Teenage Boxing Champ in the Honolulu area. He remembers there was an article in the local newspaper with a photo and would like to get a copy for his grandchild. His name was Elmer "Al" Bicoy, and the article would have appeared in either the Honolulu Star Bulletin or Honolulu Advertiser in May of 1952.
