He died 1906 place unknown. also have a Carl Leege born around 1829 and emigrated from Hamburg to NY 20 November 1865 on the "Harry Bluff". It is possible that the name got mispelled and stayed that way and Leege is pretty close. This is my brothers surname. Hope this helps. Haven't seen any sign of a Leege or Laage in Hawaii as of yet.
