Gmother: BERNICE NEVES BRYANT VIERRA , born Kauai Abt. 1880. Her parents, Frank NEVES and Theresa CORREIA DeJESUS were from AZORES or MADEIRA Island. Gfather: LOUIS BRYANT, born Kauai, Abt 1880. His father was born Jean Shahatar BRIAN in France. Changed name to Bryant upon arrival in Kauai. BERNICE NEVES married LOUIS BRYANT in Kauai abt. 1900. Louis was either a timekeeper or foreman on the McBRIDE PLANTATION, MAKAWELI, Kauai. Bernice was a domestic servant. They had five children before divorcing. Bernice moved to Honolulu with all the children. Any and all information regarding these families or how to research them greatly appreciated. Have little more information than that listed here.
