Bessie Malakaua is my great grandmother who had "Elena Kilohana Malakaua" with a irishman. (I'll have to get in touch with my grandma for her fathers name). The last I was told, "Robert Smith"=)??? My grandmother was taken in & raised by her grand uncle....John Kupahu.....(who was Pihikula's brother). Apparently, my great-great grandfather, (MALAKAUA), was upset at my great-grandmothers pregnancy, (Bessie Malakaua) with my grandmother, (Elena Kilohana Malakaua). Then my grandmother "Elena Kilohana Malakaua" married Arthur Ehukai Fuller and had: Antoinette, Emily, Elsie, Margaret, David, Arthur Jr. *****Please note that I just got all this information over the phone tonight from my grand aunty Mrs. Pang...who is Sarah Malakaua's daughter.****I didn't anticipate passing on this information so soon before checking up on the correct spelling of the names, so please pardon any mis-spelling=) However, while doing some research of my own, (after my phone conversation)... I came across your posting and thought that you would appreciate any and all information. Aloha! Hokulani p.s. should you come up with anything on "HEWAHEWA/MALAKAUA/NAPAHI"...or "Keliioponui"...(which by the way the spelling might be incorrect), pls. kekep me posted....much mahalos=!!
