He was my great, great grandfather. You may also be a relative . . . Marcus Billson is buried in the plot. As someone mentioned, Rose Ranch became Ulupalakua in up-country Maui. There is quite a bit written about it and other of Captain Makee's ventures with Hawaiian royalty. You can find it on the internet.
