This box was in my cousin's attic for over 30 years. Many of the letters are from the mid 1920's. One had my genealogy copied from a family bible. I was able to fill in a lot of dates and names. My greatgrandmother was Anna Marie Hicks (b. 1892 MO and d. 1968 CA), the daughter of John Wesley Hicks (b. 1845 PA and d. 1906 ?) and Maggie Catherine Tucker. John Wesley Hicks was the son of John Richard Hicks (b. 1814 MD and d. 1880 IL) and Catherine Emmerich. John and Catherine had 8 children: William Benjamin Hicks, Rebecca Hicks, Elizabeth Hicks, Maria Hicks, John Wesley Hicks, George Washington Hicks, Joseph Nelson Hicks and Mary Catherine Hicks. This is where my Hicks line ends. Does anyone have any information going back further? Thanks, Ric
