Hicks Rosa Lee Hicks, 71, 1130 Poga Road, Butler, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Hicks was a native of Kentucky and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Coy Harmon. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Piney Grove Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Willie Hicks, of the home, and a special friend, Brownie Presnell, Elizabethton. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Hicks will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Piney Grove Church of Christ with Mr. Dean Estep, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Crisp and the Piney Grove Church of Christ Singers. Interment will follow in the Stines Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Friends may also call at anytime at the residence of a great-niece, Judy Vines, 158 River Road, Elizabethton. Active pallbearers will be June Clawson, Jim Clawson, Ronnie Kent, Bill Anderson, Chris Flannery and Joe Linville. Honorary pallbearers will be Earnest Hicks, Carl Cable, Robert Hicks, Brownie Presnell, Kurt Guy, Daniel Dugger, Charlie Phillips and Jerry Phillips.
